Here is some guides on the new features available in todays update.

Quick note: Any crest sets converted to insignias can not be converted back to crests, it is wise to only convert level 5 sets at this time.
Level 5 sets can be upgraded to level 6 except Revitalize.
The heroes in the “hero pool” are not disclosed yet and speculation that it may be an ingame Event
The runes needed to create a level 6 Insignia are currently only available in Bazaar and Packs from what has been seen.
