Hi Guys and Girls welcome to a special instalment of Hero Focus!!!
With the Archdemons freshly updated we thought it would be a perfect opportunity to help you build the Heroes that can give you the HUGE damage!!!!!
This special series will cover 3 Heroes that will be a part of your Archdemon permanent setup.
This is an open discussion where players can add their builds and discuss how they use their Hero also so feel free to post and comment below.
This data was compiled with the minds of NikkoTate, BNKV and Hanyabull from iOS, Rusty/Fe2O3 and Ollie/ojdiaz from Android.This information is to be used as a starting point and not to be taken as the absolute best end-game combination

Part 1: Importance of Use

Beast Tamer is important to use on the Archdemon simply because he increases the damage the Archdemon takes from all the Heroes on the battlefield.
At 10/10 He will make the Archdemon take 28% more Damage for 9 seconds with a 12 second Cooldown.
He also brings another Attacker to the table with Grizzly who lets Beast Tamer take 65% less damage but more importantly raise his Critical Rate greatly for 3.5 seconds.

Part 2: Talent

There is no "multi options" for Beast Tamer as Archdemon is the only place you will use him.
His main Talent should be Slow Down.
As some Archdemons are immune to the effects of Scatter, it is a waste to set him up with Scatter, however almost all the Archdemons can have the "Slow Down" method used on them.
The Slowdown method refers to a strategy to slow down the target to the point they can not move anymore, this means they can not attack any of your Heroes.
At 8/8, Slow Down has a 40% chance to slow the targets Move Speed by 70% for 5 seconds. It can also be Stacked. The image below shows a Slowdown 7/8.
Beast Tamer will generally be the second Hero you drop when battling the Archdemon so it is important he has the highest Slowdown level possible.
Another benefit from using Slow Down is it will give you more DPS (damage per second) as you will gain 1 extra attack every time it activates. The higher the Talent level, the more frequently it activates

Part 3: Crest/Insignia

As above, Beast Tamer will generally be set up 1 way. However, depending on the Archdemon you are facing, there is 2 Crest Choices for this Hero.

Heavy Blow: At Level 5, Heavy Blow has a 10% Chance to inflict Coma for 3 seconds. As with Slow Down, when this Talent activates you will gain an extra attack.

Scatter: At level 5, Scatter will reduce the Archdemons energy by 25 when attacking.
(This can not be used against Archdemons who have imuunity to Energy Reduction)

The reason we chose Heavy Blow is for the additional DPS it gives when it Activates and most of the Archdemons now are immune to Energy Reduction so a secondary option was needed.

Part 4: Traits

Going with the current theme, we have chosen Critical Chance as the preferred Traits for using against the Archdemon.
A Critical Hit is worth more than a standard hit and the more damage you can do on the Archdemon, the higher the rewards will be for you.
If you are strictly Free-to-Play player, Attack Traits can also be ok but Critical Chance is optimal.
Each Level 5 CRIT will add +90 to your Critical Chance.

Part 5: Enchantment

As the Archdemon requires as much damage as possible inflicted to gain higher rewards, we have decided to recommend a Summon Enchantment.
The only reason for this is it is an extra attacker so Beast Tamer will will now have 3x the hits being inflicted on the Archdemon if you take into account himself, Grizzly and the Summon Enchantment.
There is 2 summon Enchantments that are optimal, these are;
Pyremage: Will be summoned for 15 seconds when Beast Tamer attacks and dies when/if Beast Tamer is killed. She has a cooldown of 16 seconds
She also summons a Comet which deals 580% Pyremage Attack Damage at level 5 to the Archdemon with a 6 second Cooldown.
Blade Knight: Will be summoned for 15 seconds when Beast Tamer attacks and dies when/if Beast Tamer is killed. She has a cooldown of 16 seconds.
She also deals 480% Blade Knight Attack Damage at level 5 to the Archdemon with a 6 second cooldown.
Divine Templar is not optimal as she is not summoned unless Beast Tamer is attacked, if you managed to get the Slow Down method to work then the Archdemon will not be attacking anyone and Divine Templar will not be summoned.

Part 6: Conclusion

In conclusion, we recommend that Beast Tamer be built to maximise possible damage output and inflict as much Damage Per Second as possible.
The whole idea of the Archdemon fight is to gain as many Hit Points as possible to win as much Fame as possible which is one of the hardest commodities to build up fast.
Beast Tamer is a necessary Hero for the Archdemon and can not be replaced by any other Hero.
So start working on your Beast Tamers everyone and get those scores up!!

Thanks for the heads up. I hadn't even considered levelling my beast tamer.

I just rolled all my cards and got one with heavy blow 4 (on ftp Smurf). I know grizzly has HB but do you think that HB is a useful talent for the hero as well?
