1.  Hero Base level plays a big role in your defense ability.

A level 121 Druid with level 20 hero base is better than level 180 Druid.

2. Hero Level

3. Garrison

4. Tower selections

[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0)]Cannon towers do well in wave A-C since its mostly low level ground units

[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0)]Magic towers does well for A-E since the biggest issue is the Units and not the hero.

[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0)]Arrow Towers are is best against High Level hero you'll encounter in Later stages of HBM

[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0)]Arrow Towers require Ordinary (green) garrison to be useful.

5. Decoy buildings & Defense buildings

8. Building Placements

[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0)]But the idea is to have decoy building around your defense building so when units attack they will target the Decoy first giving your defense building more time to attack.

9. Walls

[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0)]This is by FAR the most important aspect of the HBM guild.

[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0)]There are 3 main Wall designs and all base will fall into these three category

[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0)]1. No wall design/Not enough Wall/Not enough High level walls

[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0)]This is the worst design you can do.  Simply not having enough walls to make your design work correctly will make it very hard to win.  For this reason its advice that you focus your gold into walls and mana into hero base until you've reach base design 2 or 3.

[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0)]Using the walls to surround defense buildings and high level decoy buildings, inflicting maximum damage to enemy before they breach walls.

[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0)]3. AI pathfinding Designs

[backcolor=rgba(255, 255, 255, 0)]This is the most complex design and require the user to understand how the AI pathfinding works in order to take advantage.  (This is my current design)
